Wind Powered Charger

I have bought a Peter Lynn Charger 12m and its a excellent kite but it seems to have a problem where the wingtips decide to close in on themselves and then refuse to spread open again. this happens in light wind with no input and during powered sessions even when jumping. Any help or advice is appreciated
